While I continue to develop my game, I want to deliver assets for other people to use on the Unity Asset Store.
To do this, I will need to start with something simple. To simply get to understand how to deliver assets, I will start with a humble tree stump.
Setting up the setup
To even begin to set up a Unity Asset Store, I need to make this website. As you can't setup a Unity Asset Store store, without a website for your brand.
As you are reading this, the first step of the setting up of the Unity Publisher setup is complete.
Next, I have to;
- finish filling in the Publisher Profile on publisher.unity.com
- find out what else Unity want in the setup to be a Publisher
- model the actual 3D tree stump in Blender
- texture the 3D tree stump
- test importing the tree stump as a package in different build pipelines
- upload the package via the Asset Store Publishing Tools tool
- pass all the tests
- pass the Unity review stages
- publish the asset
